This Saturday, The Cosmic Carnival had the best evening of their existence so far. At the Melkweg in Amsterdam, they won both the jury’s as the public’ prijs of Holland’s biggest and most important band contest ‘De Grote Prijs van Nederland’ in the Rock/Alternative category!

INTERVIEW ON RADIO 3FM
Tonight the band was interviewed live on national Radio 3FM at the Xnoizz show and gave away tickets to the big final of De Grote Prijs van Nederland (Holland’s most important band contest). Unfortunately, the live performance had to be rescheduled, but that only means another chance to get airplay on 3FM soon.
TCC win Battle Of The Bands finals
Last Friday, The Cosmic Carnival won the finals of a band contest called ‘Battle of the Bands’. Inspired by the Onder Invloed at Home night the day before, when they played alongside Anne Soldaat and the amazing Starlets (from Glasgow), they won a thousand euros to spend on instruments and other stuff.

Show in Utrecht this Sunday
We’ll be playing a bar called ‘t Gras van de Buren in Utrecht this coming Sunday, the 4th of October! We’ll play two sets, starting at 3 o’clock in the afternoon and the entrance is free.

The Cosmic Carnival in Amsterdam
Last Monday, The Cosmic Carnival played a sold out support show for the American band Blitzen Trapper at the Paradiso upstairs in Amsterdam. Earlier that day, they recorded a session for Amsterdam Acoustics together with Scottish guitarist Paul Tasker. Watch some photos here.
